“Before working with Brenda- my relationship with food was in emergency mode. A REQUIRED SKILL FOR WEIGHT LOSS: delayed gratification.
The ability to simply: WAIT. You MUST be able to choose what you want in the long run (your desired weight loss results!) vs what you want right now (... that cookie, the wine, the chips, the trail mix..)
If you haven’t been able to create the level of weight loss results you want, that’s because you haven’t developed THE SKILL OF WAITING. The ART OF DELAY.
