In order to become the version of yourself that you WANT to be (lose the weight, de-condition the habits, feel completely confident around food)...

you will have to LET GO of the version of you that isn’t that.

IF YOU EXPERIENCE RESISTANCE TO CHANGE AND SELF-SABOTAGE:
You will have to consider that instead of grasping on to your old identities (habits, beliefs, patterns) it is also possible, and much more effective, to know that it is 'ok' to release it, and then ALLOW YOURSELF TO FULLY TO GRIEVE THE THING YOU ARE LETTING GO.

Here's the thing...
Even the most desired change-
Is still change.

EMOTIONS COME UP WITH CHANGE.
-Grief is a normal and natural internal reaction to a perceived loss of any kind.
-There's often conflicting feelings caused by the end of - or change - in familiar patterns and behaviors.

IN ORDER FOR YOUR NEW IDENTITY (and new results) TO BE FULLY BORN, you'll have to let go of the current identity that is holding you back.

Permission to grieve these changes: GRANTED.

**YES, even the most desired changes. And it matters to do so. **

There's a good reason why 'The Holidays' can feel so dang challenging when it comes to weight loss (and maintenance!)
