If you expect yourself to be perfect at losing weight and changing your habits & your mindset from the get-go, you won’t ever allow yourself to learn.

Beating yourself up, and dwelling for days about those “off” moments- will keep you perpetually overeating and quitting out of frustration and regret.

The truth is- we learn by being BAD at things. Being BAD at something is literally REQUIRED in order to learn & improve.  The more we do that thing, messy-uncoordinated and all-  the better we get.

That’s the nature of learning. 

It applies to any new skill- weight loss isn’t any different. 

In order to learn the skill of losing your stubborn weight. There’s one thing you will NEED TO BE 100% WILLING TO DO: make mistakes.

In order to learn, you must first BE BAD at this weight loss thing. A requirement for getting better. LET YOURSELF BE A STUDENT OF THE THING you are wanting to master.

You might be thinking, “ok yea Brenda, but I’ve been bad at weight loss long enough- I should be a master by now”.

Here’s why you’re not: you hadn’t actually been taught the skills necessary. Now on this podcast I introduce you to the tools & brain/emotional management strategies you had been needing all along.

ALL of them. Every single time that you eat off plan it is because you're not processing or managing an emotion. This is why it doesn't matter how much you know about nutrition- or the fact that you know exactly what to eat, but somehow still end up eating things that keep you stuck and struggling... even though you want to lose the weight more than anything.
