If you expect yourself to be perfect at losing weight and changing your habits & your mindset from the get-go, you won’t ever allow yourself to learn.

Beating yourself up, and dwelling for days about those “off” moments- will keep you perpetually overeating and quitting out of frustration and regret.

The truth is- we learn by being BAD at things. Being BAD at something is literally REQUIRED in order to learn & improve.  The more we do that thing, messy-uncoordinated and all-  the better we get.

That’s the nature of learning. 

It applies to any new skill- weight loss isn’t any different. 

In order to learn the skill of losing your stubborn weight. There’s one thing you will NEED TO BE 100% WILLING TO DO: make mistakes.

In order to learn, you must first BE BAD at this weight loss thing. A requirement for getting better. LET YOURSELF BE A STUDENT OF THE THING you are wanting to master.

You might be thinking, “ok yea Brenda, but I’ve been bad at weight loss long enough- I should be a master by now”.
